BikeClicks.com/Team Louisville is committed to developing bicycle racing and bicycle racers across the Kentuckiana region. We focus on road, cyclocross and mountain bike racing. While racing is our primary focus, our members make a commitment to volunteer their time for team activities, sponsor support, and community cycling events. If you’re just looking for a team to line up and race with, we’re not it!
But if you’re looking to join a great group of people representing all facets of the bicycle racing community, you can’t do better than BikeClicks.com/Team Louisville. We focus on choosing teammates based on ability and attitude. We develop beginning racers and experienced racers alike. We have chosen to cap our ongoing roster at 40 racers, so membership opportunities are based on availability.
Men’s Open Squad
Annual evaluation rides are typically held each August. Interested racers are encouraged to attend at least two of these rides, as well as other local rides with current BikeClicks.com/Team Louisville members. We get input from multiple team members before extending an invitation. Invitations to join the open squad are typically extended each fall.
Women’s Squad
We also include women riders in our annual evaluation rides (see above). But since we have made a commitment to grow our Women’s Squad, we may choose to extend offers throughout the year based on the interest and availability of experienced racers.
Cat 3 Road Squad
This squad of experienced racers was created to offer advancement opportunities to current BikeClicks.com/Team Louisville racers. In order to field a competitive team we may also extend invitations to experienced racers who wish to join BikeClicks.com/Team Louisville throughout the season. Positions on the sponsored squad are by invitation, and racers sign an agreement to meet specific standards in support of the team and our sponsors.
