To our Sponsors,
It seems that perhaps that veil of bitter cold, wind storms, ice storms and power outages has lifted and there actually is some light at the end of the wintery tunnel here in Kentuckiana! What a treat the past few days’ weather has been – it all adds to the excitement of the start of the road racing season, which starts; serendipitously enough, this Saturday, March 14th at Long Run Park.
BikeClicks/Team Louisville is proud to host the first race of the McDonald’s Kentuckiana Spring Series Classic, presented by Apex Physical Therapy.
Long Run park offers a great, paved, closed course which makes for some fun spectating. All are invited to come out and watch the races that start with the Men’s category 4/5 at 10 am and end with the Men’s 1 / 2 at 2 pm. There’s a playground for the kids, and if the weathermen are correct, it’s supposed to be 50 degrees!
We have all been busy with the long, lonely hours of winter training, as well as working behind the scenes on the new team website, attending the Bike Summit, the launch of Safe Rides and keeping up with major upgrades & membership growth to BikeClicks.com.
I’ll be following up next week with some race reports from Long Run, the announcement and launch of the new team site, and details on the above mentioned exciting updates.
Happy Riding & here’s to hoping the warming trend from earlier this week comes back soon!
