The local Cyclocross season has come to an official end – we had 21 racers head to the frozen north tundra of Indianapolis to race in the series finale this past Sunday, December 7th. Wrap up and result links below –
Cross may be over, but this is just the beginning of some big things for our team. An amazing buzz has been generated and we hear it at all the races – this past cyclocross season was our first full season under the new team name, and the last two races our first in the new kits – the feedback we hear has been incredibly favorable; the new kits are a big hit and look amazing rolling all over the cross courses! It’s easy to spot a team member out there! BikeClicks/Team Louisville had more racers on the podium at the season finale than any other local team.
While the season is over for the majority of us, we do have two racers heading to the Cyclocross Nationals in Kansas City this weekend – In addition to heading off to Nationals, teammate Joe Collins raced in all three USGP events this year; having traveled to New Jersey & just this past weekend, Portland. He had some very impressive results and we hope to share some of their race reports with you in the coming weeks.
As soon as I get my facts straight, I’ll also share some of the results of the Storm the Greens race, which was also the Kentucky State Championships – (overall results can be seen here, but KY State Champ podium results differed a bit). Once again, we had several members of BikeClicks/Team Louisville on the podium!
