Started commuting by bike in 2007 for exercise, after giving up running following 25 years of wearing out my knees. During club rides with the LBC, I discovered that I really enjoyed riding hard and competing; took up racing in 2009. Looking forward to training and racing with teammates. I'm fortunate to be married to Nancy, not only a lovely lady, but someone who is very supportive of my cycling habit. We have no children, and both of us work for General Electric.
