Born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago, I relocated to Louisville, KY 3 yrs ago and now my husband and I find ourselves in Cincinnati due to job relocations. After jumping on a mountain bike 2 1/2 years ago as a casual weekend warrior, I was encouraged to race..what a scary thought. After winning my first race as a beginner, I haven't stopped racing. I absolutely LOVE riding and I encourage everyone to at least give it a TRY. It'll be well worth your time; great for the heart, soul and friendship!

Richard Pearson
Rode in high school and college in the 1970's, then when I moved to Wisconsin did a few Triathlons and finally started riding the Track in Kenosha, at the Washington Bowl in 1986. Loved the speed. (Also, don't have to worry about braking and shifting gears. Simple, hehe.) Have competed in many Masters Track Nationals all over the states and once in Manchester, England for the Worlds, that was a blast. Finally, got on the podium last year, with a 5th in the sprints.
